This dive site is located near Kralendijk and is only accessible by boat. The reef has a small wall that’s perfect for novice divers and night divers. The wall starts at 39 feet and extends to 72 feet and runs around a bit, away from the coast. The wall consists of hard corals and sponges and attracts lots of beautiful fish.
At 59 feet is a small cave which is the sleeping place of a nurse shark. The reef descends to 131 feet, where you will find many plate corals and large groups of sand eels.
This dive site is fantastic for taking pictures. The many anemones and corals attract slugs, shrimp, sea horses and many christmas tree worms in different colors. In the holes of the reef wall you’ll find moray eels and snake eels and if you look closely even octopus. Diving at night is beautiful here. You will often encounter lobsters and great barracudas.
Do you want to visit Small Wall? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions to the best dive sites in the world. Convenient, as many dive sites on the North coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
