This dive site is unmarked. The coast consists of coral stones, you will find no beach, hence the name of this dive site. Going into the water is not easy at the first 7 feet, but then you will arrive at a limestone plateau. Soft coral starts from 10 feet, with a great diversity and mainly big fan corals.
The drop off is at 29 feet, vegetation is dense here. The reef runs down steeply to 148 feet, behind it is a sandy bottom. At this reef you will mostly spot soft coral and large sponges. Around the drop off are plenty of anemones, cleaner shrimp and grazing turtles.
The best depth is between 26 and 66 feet. You can snorkel perfectly at the shallow plateau with little waves.
Do you want to visit Hidden Beach? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions. Convenient, as many dive sites on the South coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
