This unmarked dive site lies between Atlantis and Vista Blue. There is a hut, built by local fishermen. Here you can easily enter the water, but watch out for holes and ledges in the hard bottom.
The wide shallow plateau first consists of rock, from 10 feet it becomes sandy. You can make beautiful pictures of different anemones here. The drop off is at 26 feet, where big schools of brown damselfish swim amidst the soft coral.
You will also see many turtles here. Up to 49 feet you will mostly find soft coral. The deeper reef consists of hard coral and runs to a 115 feet depth. Along the bottom of the reef you’ll find black coral. The most beautiful dive spot is between 23 and 82 feet with large numbers of beautiful fish, which sometimes swim away fast at the rapid movements of the big fish. A beautiful sight!
Do you want to visit Fish Hut? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions. Convenient, as many dive sites on the South coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
