This new dive site has no beach, the coast consists of rocks. This is a fantastic place to take underwater pictures, the coral is healthy and very diverse. The best way to enter the water is from the pile of rocks on the beach, as the reef begins directly at the shore. From these rocks you can walk straight ahead through a channel.
You will find the most beautiful spots of this dive between 23 and 49 feet. You will also find the most fish here. The drop off starts at around 26 feet and slopes down to 148 feet. At 82 feet you will find black coral. This is a nice place, but be careful with deep dives with possible compression of time. Medical assistance may be far away.
Do you want to visit Candyland? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions. Convenient, as many dive sites on the north coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
