This dive site is located on a long, narrow beach of coral, with small spots of sand and thatched umbrellas. This site is especially nice because you can quite often encounter great barracudas, turtles and big jacks, which prey on smaller fish along the reef.
The shallow plateau consists of dead coral, you will not find many fish there. From the drop off around 28 feet you’ll find more and more corals, strikingly big numbers of parrotfish and seahorses. Below 66 feet you will find beautiful coral formations. Look up regularly while diving here. You will see turtles, great barracudas and large jacks.
Do you want to visit Andrea II? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions. Convenient, as many dive sites on the North coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
