This dive site is located near the salt fields in the south and has no sandy beach, instead there are piles of dead coral that form a dike. This beach has a double reef, just like many other beaches in the south. The shallow part is interesting for snorkelers, the deeper section for experienced divers.
The first reef consists mainly of soft coral, many small fish swim here. This reef extends to 98 feet, where it turns into a sandy bottom, you will find many sand eels there.
The second reef is not visible from the first reef. It consists of hard coral with plenty of cleaning stations and sponges. Especially the large brain corals and large great barracudas and queen trigger fish are nice to watch.
Do you want to visit Alice in Wonderland? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions. Convenient, as many dive sites on the South coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
