This dive site is located between Sampler and Leonora ‘s Reef on the north coast of Klein Bonaire. Here is little current and the plateau is shallow so this is an excellent location for snorkelers and novice divers.
For snorkelers arriving by water taxi it’s quite a walk but well worth the effort. The shallow plateau with different types of coral is a perfect refuge for many different types of parrot fish, lobsters and slugs. You can make great pictures here.
The buoy is 16 feet deep, the drop off is at 29 feet. At the latter you will find many fish species. The reef runs down steeply to 118 feet. You’ll find lots of corals and big fish.
Do you want to visit Knife? In Bonaire Dive Guide you can find more information and detailed directions. Convenient, as many dive sites on the north coast are off road and hard to find. The guide is also practical as a reference and safe: leaving your mobile phone in the car during a dive is not wise.
